Well 60 kites out and 100+ kiters around but despite this an awesome session was had by all. Aaron was on Tv1 News (nz) too.
Aaron, the Tauranga crew, Jamie B , Chuckie what an epic session to watch. Aaron is one of the most consistent rider I have ever seen and that explains why he does so well in comps as well as being an epic freerider. Also a very sound individual.
It was the biggest day for kitesurfing that Orewa has ever seen – in fact maybe the biggest event turnout of anything kitesurfing ever in NZ – there were sooo many people checking it out.
The wind started off really weak at the start of the day and just went up and up – it was awesome
Nothing like a top pro to set the session and beach alive!
