Auckland based rider Sebstien Maupas had an encounter with a sea snake when he landed on one and it decided to bite him. Luckily, sea snakes bites, not well know for itching – more for killing, do not always pump out all their venom and the snake decided seb tasted so nice that it would let him off. Thank you Mr Sea snake. Sebastien and Miek Cann (also stung by a weaver fish recently) can now swap bite pics!
Oh this happened in WA not nz…. mmmm sea snakes – now that would keep the crowds away. It would work as well beacuse the surf at Ohama has been empty since the 8ft shark attacked the lifesaver boat 2 weeks ago…
